Stairs and Wall in Brattleboro

We installed these stairs to improve access for our client's kids to access their neighborhood and a safer walk to school. Built the walls to transform their eroding backyard into a lovely feature.

Amherst Berm

We created this berm garden as a solution to a shaded and root bound area in a client's front yard. We laid down a barrier and built up the soil in order to bring the planting level up away from a mass of tree roots which were stunting the perennials' growth. Planted a variety of shade tolerant perennials and solved the issue!

Sturbridge Polyculture

At this site in Sturbridge, MA we installed a medicinal and edible polyculture including a peach tree, rosa rugosa, various medicinal perennials, pollinator wildflowers and what has become a gigantic elder shrub! At year five this garden is yielding peaches, hazelnuts, plenty of medicinal herbs including too many elder flowers and berries to keep up with! Luckily the birds help out a lot.

Guilford Clean-up

This garden was left to its own devices for about two years until we received a call for HELP! A lot of hard work and 30 yards of mulch later we got this wild beast looking pretty tame.

Our Work

Here are some of our recent projects and a couple of favorites!

Northfield Permaculture Garden

On this property over the last five years we've installed a variety of medicinal plants, an assortment of fruiting trees shrubs and vines as well as a striking native pollinator meadow area! In addition to the gardens and orchard components we have nearly bordered the house with these wonderful goshen stone walkways and patios. It’s becoming a veritable medicinal and edible paradise!
